Vision

If your life’s fulfillment consists of sunsets and rainy days, with the additional spice of a walk on the beach or up a creek, then I envy you, you have found your Valhalla.  Be content with it but do not feel an obligation to impose upon or criticize others who do not share you vision of a fulfilled life. For those around you, who have ventured abroad, explored, read of curious things and exotic conditions and have considered “what if” and “why not”, your rainy sunsets are not enough in the quest of true fulfillment.

They, unlike the vocal minority, are the vast majority of quiet supporters of continual change and achievement, of the improvement of theirs, and even more so, the generation that follows. They recognize while the vocal minority see only the mountains around us obscuring the view, beyond, there is a vast and endless horizon rife with potential and possibilities. That is the horizon and the vision of the quiet majority. This is who ultimately and steadfastly will shape the future of our community.

Theater, a lens, a prism that splits life’s aspirations into a vast rainbow of what ifs? and why nots? These are the colours of life, theater, it is to be embraced as a wonderful gift that never stops giving. Build it and they will come.
